Gaining a broad range of skills, rapid personal growth and challenging assignments at three different universities: sounds great, right? The two-year LDE traineeship has been the joint trainee programme of Leiden University, Delft University of Technology and Erasmus University Rotterdam (LDE) since 2014.
As a trainee, you carry out two one-year assignments at one of the faculties or corporate offices of one of the three universities. At the end of the first year a rotation takes place and you apply for a new position at another university. This will help you gain an insight into the operations of different universities and organizational units along the way. During these two years you will be challenged to develop professionally and personally through a corresponding training program, in which the training institute De Baak plays an important role.
Want to know more about the work done by trainees? Read the experiences of LDE 9. You can also learn more about the trainees' daily work and activities on the LDE Trainees Instagram page.
The application period for 2024-2025 is now closed. Recruitment for next year will begin in March 2025.
