TU Delft and Leiden University have been working closely together for many years in the field of natural sciences and technology. In addition, in 2006 the three universities (TU Delft, Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam) and the two University Medical Centres (LUMC and Erasmus MC) established Medical Delta, in which partners are working on technological solutions for sustainable care. In 2019, TU Delft and the Erasmus Medical Center announced further collaboration in the field of Health and Technology.
