The Master's degree programme in Nanobiology is a joint degree programme from Delft University of Technology and the Erasmus University Medical Centre (Erasmus University Rotterdam).
Nanobiology is a new field of research at the interface between physics, biology and medical research. Only recently, rapid developments in nanotechnology have made it possible to study biology at nano-level and to explore the physics of the cell.
The successful application of Nanobiology will require not simply collaboration between disciplines, but true disciplinary integration of physics and biology.
